Next week, the New England Chapter of the Romance Writers of America holds their annual conference. On Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 3:30PM until 5:30PM, the NECRWA will hold its annual book fair where over 50 authors will be signing books. The book fair is open to the public and will be held at the Boston Marriott Burlington in Burlington MA.

Authors scheduled to sign include:
Julia Quinn, Zoe Archer, Caroline Linden, Sarah MacLean, Tiffany Reisz, Cara McKenna, and Marie Force

This fair is a wonderful opportunity for fans to meet their favorite authors and help fight illiteracy.

Today, I made the treck up to Salem, Massachusetts to attend the Book Fair/Literacy Signing that the New England Chapter of The Romance Writers of America held as part of their annual conference. Last year's event was my first ever book signing. The crowd is rather small which makes it easy to talk to any and all authors. It is a very different scene from the mob scene of the literacy signing at RWA's annual conference. I would recommend this local event to all romance aficionados. The New England Chapter of the Romance Writers of America Annual Conference begins tomorrow in Salem, MA. On Saturday afternoon, there is a multi-author book signing event at the Hawthorne Hotel. Proceeds are donated to charity. Doors open to the public at 4:30PM (conference attendees get in early at 4:00).

I went to the signing last year and had a great time. There weren't too many people, so it was fairly easy to talk to the authors - and get books signed! I highly recommend this event to romance readers.
