Series Review: The Devil DeVere Series

The_Devils_Match_600x900The Devil DeVere Series including “A Wild Night’s Bride” by Victoria Vane (historical, Breathless Press, April 2012, $0.99, 105pp), “The Virgin Huntress” by Victoria Vane (historical, Breathless Press, June 2012, $3.49, 99pp), “The Devil You Know” by Victoria Vane (historical, Breathless Press, July 2012, $4.99, 127pp) and “The Devil’s Match” by Victoria Vane (historical, Breathless Press, August 2012, $3.49, 132pp)

Summary:
For more on this series, check out what the author has to say about it.

Review:
There are four short books (each about 100 pages) in the Devil DeVere series by Victoria Vane chronicling the amorous adventures and happily ever afters of three couples. Each successive book builds upon the previous ones, making this a series that should be read in order. While the first story wasn’t my favorite of the group, it set the foundation for a strong and highly memorable romance between the debauched Ludovic DeVere and the reluctant and gun shy Lady Diana Palmerston-Wriothesley.
