RNN is excited to participate in Tammara Webber’s blog tour for the release of her New Adult book “Easy.” “Easy” is one of the best romances of 2012. It is filled with the incredible angst of first love.
New York Times Bestselling Author Tammara Webber on her portrayal of Lucas in her bestselling novel EASY:
Lucas is the hero who has already turned his life around before the story begins. Yet even after his personal reinvention, he’s isolated, and has been for a long time. Lucas has relationships, but they fall on one side or the other: unwavering and strong, or shallow and ultimately meaningless. Not looking to change this aspect of his life, he doesn’t count on meeting a girl who intrigues him immediately. He’s compelled to get closer to Jacqueline, even while he tries to hold her apart emotionally. But she needs his protection and support more than either of them know, and she will eventually test his attempt at compromise – bringing her to that emotional middle ground no one else occupies. The problem is, Lucas doesn’t do middle ground.

RNN hosts author Anne Calhoun whose holiday novella, “Breath on Embers” released this week in the “Red Hot Holiday” anthology from Carina. “Breath on Embers” is an RNN Recommended Read – and is one of Jennifer’s picks for best erotic romances of 2012.
Anne Calhoun is giving away one copy of “Breath on Embers” to a commenter. Read on for more details.
From Anne Calhoun:
I hate the holidays. There. I said it.
A love/hate relationship, maybe that’s a better description. I love the darkness, the lights struggling in the cold weight of the longest days. I love the quiet silences, I love cocooning in my house with books and tea. I love cookies and peppermint hot cocoa. Who doesn’t love cookies and cocoa? I love celebrating a time of year nearly every world religion recognizes as profound.
Today, we welcome author Jill Shalvis to talk a bit about her most recent release, “Rescue My Heart.” We are also giving away a copy of “Rescue My Heart” to one commenter.
Q: Can you tell our readers a bit about Rescue My Heart and its series, Animal Magnetism?
A: I’ve always thought cute animals and sexy heroes go together, so I started this series about a set of wildly alpha brothers running an animal center in Sunshine, Idaho at the base of the Bitteroot Mountains.
Romance Novel News is excited to have author Julie Anne Long here today. Long’s latest book, which is out now, is “A Notorious Countess Confesses.” Read on to find out more . . .

Thanks for having me on your blog today! I’m excited to be here with you.
Q: Your latest books are set in the world of the Elder Races, a complex and well-crafted paranormal world that rivals Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunters world. What inspired you to create this intriguing and vibrant world?
A: I’ve had so much inspiration from so many different places, that I’m afraid I can’t give just one answer. Nalini Singh’s rich worldbuilding was certainly part of that inspiration, but many other authors were too, from Patricia McKillip to J R Ward, to C J Cherryh. I read extensively in different genres, so I think I’ve been influenced by a lot of authors.
Today, RNN features an interview and giveaway with author Elisabeth Naughton, whose book “Enslaved” releases on November 6th. This series is one of Jennifer’s favorites in the paranormal romance genre. At the end, find out how to win a copy of “Enslaved” from Naughton’s publisher, Sourcebooks.
Q. “Enslaved” is the 5th book in your Eternal Guardians series. Can you tell us a bit about this book?
Book five is Gryphon’s book. He’s my lost Argonaut. His soul was sent to the Underworld to be tortured in book 3 (“TEMPTED”) and he was rescued in book 4 (“ENRAPTURED”), but he came back a changed hero. Gryphon was always the easy-going, fun guardian. Now he hears voices, he twitches, and he fights an evil foreboding that haunts his every move. His story is really about finding himself again, and the one woman who has the power to rescue him from himself.

The Party From Hell
Have you ever been to a party that went tragically wrong? One where your ex-boyfriend showed up with his new girlfriend, a drunken idiot spilled beer down your shirt, and then you got trapped in a corner for HOURS with the biggest bore at the party?
In my new Regency-set historical romance, His Mistletoe Bride, my heroine finds herself at the party from hell. Phoebe Linville was raised in a small Quaker village in America, and has only recently travelled to England to meet her aristocratic British relatives. Her new-found family, of course, insists on introducing her to London society. It’s all been a bit of a trial for Phoebe, used as she is to an entirely different way of life.

Q: Your upcoming release, "The Gin Lovers" is a serialized romance for St. Martins set amidst "the backdrop of Prohibition and the rise of the Jazz Age." Can you tell us a bit more about the story?
A: The Gin Lovers is, at its heart, a story about a woman who suddenly questions her choices.
Charlotte’s marriage was a “safe” choice, she follows all the rules – but the rules are changing dramatically. She looks around her and sees women taking risks, making their own choices, and living lives that have nothing to do with having a proper marriage. And she wonders if she is missing out. Then, once her eyes are more open to the world around her, she discovers that her “safe” husband is not who he appears to be.
