Cover Reveal: Nobody by Sarah M. Anderson

Written by Jennifer Porter

Nobody CoverToday, Sarah M. Anderson stops by to reveal the cover to her latest Men of the White Sandy book, Nobody.

Nobody is available as an ebook now at Amazon , Kobo , Google Play, B & N, and Apple. Print editions will be available May 1, 2014 at your favorite online bookseller.

Blurb for Nobody:

Nobody Bodine came from a nobody and will always be a nobody. He can disappear into the shadows—no one can see him if he doesn’t want them to. He exists on the edge, in neither the white man’s world nor the tribe’s, dispensing vigilante justice when he sees fit. There’s no other place for a man like him in this world.

Until Melinda Mitchell shows up on the rez. From the first moment he lays eyes on her, he can tell there’s something different about her. For starters, she’s not afraid of him. She asks where his scars came from, and why he has so many. But more than that, she sees him. For the first time in his life, Nobody feels like a somebody in her eyes.

Melinda has come west to run the new day care on the White Sandy Reservation. She’s intrigued by this strange man and his tattered skin, and when she discovers that he’s a self-appointed guardian angel for the boy in her care, she realizes that there’s more to Nobody than meets the eyes. But how far will he go to keep the boy safe? And will she be able to draw him into the light?

MysticCowboy72webWant to learn more about the Men of the White Sandy? Sarah M. Anderson stops by today to talk about the heroes of her Men of the White Sandy books. Learn more about Rebel Runs Fast, Jacob and Nobody (whose books will be out in May!).

1.The White Sandy is a Reservation in South Dakota, can you tell us a bit about the reservation and its residents?

The White Sandy isn’t a real place, although there are several Lakota reservations throughout the state. As far as I know, none of them have a white-sand beach like I describe running along the river where Rebel lives.

Laura Florand - Author PhotoToday, Laura Florand stops by to answer a few questions about her most recent release, The Chocolate Heart, an angsty yet wonderful touching romance set in Paris. The Chocolate is an RNN Recommended Read – and one of our picks for best contemporary romance of 2013. If you haven’t read this book (or if you haven’t read Laura Florand), we recommend you do so NOW!

1. Chocolate and Paris tickle so many women's romance sensors, and you manage to combine both in your current series. Why chocolate and why Paris?

I lived in Paris and met my own husband there, and I honestly did not always find that city easy. But it’s so vivid, so full of romance, and it’s layered with centuries and centuries of romantic power over people’s imaginations. It’s a symbol of going for that one big dream – you have to see Paris. There’s no other city quite like it. And the fact that it’s both hugely romantic and real, that you have to face the reality of your dream once you go to it, makes it all the more compelling for story, I think.

Guest Author Post: Leah Braemel on Slow Ride Home

Written by Jennifer Porter

SlowRideHome Leah-BraemelToday, Leah Braemel stops by to talk about her latest release, Slow Ride Home, a contemporary romance set on a ranch. Read on to find out how to enter to win a gift card from Leah Braemel.

From Leah Braemel:

My latest book, Slow Ride Home, is once again set in Texas. Which causes a lot of questions about why a Canadian would write about a Texan cowboy when we have our own cowboys, most of whom live out west in Alberta. But when I think cowboys, I think Texans first, probably influenced by all the televisions I grew up watching, but especially since I visited Texas back in 2007.

Serena Bell: Still So Hot Cover Reveal

Written by Jennifer Porter

Today, author Serena Bell stops by to talk about her upcoming release Still So Hot on her cover reveal blog tour. Read on to find out more about Still So Hot and several other releases in Bell's future.

9780373797851It’s wrong to play favorites, but I’ll confess that Brett Jordan is my favorite hero I’ve written so far. And not just because of that hip dip, that expression on his face, or whatever is happening off-screen at just-below-waist-level. He’s my favorite because he starts out at the beginning of Still So Hot! as an unrepentant serial womanizer and ends up dismantled, worked over, and thoroughly enjoyed by the matchmaker heroine whose dating boot-camp weekend his shenanigans have almost ruined. He’s not the same man by the end, except maybe for those bits you’re visually devouring right now.

Here’s the official blurb for Still So Hot!

Your “Dating Boot Camp” Itinerary

Day One:

Fly to a luxurious, five-star resort in St. Barts with your personalized dating coach, Elisa Henderson. Show up on the plane with a guy you just picked up. Find out Brett Jordan isn’t just a drool-worthy hottie with a rockin’ hard bod—he’s also a total player…and Elisa’s former best friend!

Today, RNN hosts author Logan Belle writing about "What's On Your Sexual Bucket List?" in support of the release of her latest erotic novel, "Now or Never." This story features a 40-something year old heroine who discovers her sexuality while dealing with a recent, breast cancer diagnosis. This story is an RNN Recommended Read (although is the first book in a series, so does not have a HEA).

Jamie Brenner RGB wide shot 72dpiLogan Belle asks "What's on Your Sexual Bucket List?"

When we consider what we want out of life, we might think about marriage, or children, or a certain type of house or career. But how often do we ask ourselves what we want out of sex? And are we willing to admit our desires while we still have the chance to go for it?

The question of what I really wanted – physically, erotically – came to me this summer when I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. It was a huge wake-up call that my body is changing, and that I can not take my sex life for granted. Even in the best case scenario (which fortunately I had) that I could treat the breast cancer and get on with my life, it still made me confront the fact that I’m no longer in my twenties.  It wasn’t that I was dissatisfied with my sex life, but I did have the realization that it won’t last forever. Suddenly, I knew that if there was anything I hadn’t yet tried or experienced, I should get on it -- fast!

As an erotica author, this was something I had to write about. I’d written half a dozen novels, but never before had I felt such urgency to tell a specific story. A week after my surgery, I began NOW OR NEVER.

Guest Author Interview: Katie Porter

Written by Jennifer Porter

BareKnuckle72webRomance Novel News welcomes the writing duo known as Katie Porter to discuss their upcoming erotic romance Bare Knuckle (out October 8th). This book is HOT and steamy read. Jennifer recommends it highly.

1. Bare Knuckle is the latest book in Katie Porter’s “Vegas Top Guns” series. Tell us a bit about this erotic romance.

In Bare Knuckle, readers will meet a hero and heroine who are so perfectly suited to each other that even they realize it early on in the book. Eric “Kisser” Donaghue is a fighter pilot who lives fast, hides behind scars he acquired in a near-fatal crash, and freely admits to intimate partners that his sexual fetish is voyeurism. Trish Monroe is a showgirl who loves the limelight, hides behind platinum blonde wigs and stage make-up, and wants nothing more than to be admired and watched by a lover. Their kinks dovetail so perfectly. Their chemistry explodes.

Romance author Karen M Cox stops by today to insist that ‘Romance is Not Dead’ in support of her upcoming October release "At the Edge of the Sea."

…and to prove it, I took a very scientific *cough, cough* poll (That means I asked around.) I wanted women to tell me one thing that a Real Guy has said in his life that was romantic. It didn’t even have to be something said to the women themselves, just that a Real Guy said it at some point to someone. What I discovered was that not every guy shows his romantic side in exactly the same way—just like not every woman thinks the same things are romantic. Variety is the spice of life, and to each her own, etc., etc.

And it probably doesn’t take a mental heavyweight or even a pseudoscientific poll to determine that. But after taking my poll, I sorted the romantic ‘gestures,’ we’ll call them, into five categories. The sample below includes some funny, some sweet, some over-the-top, and some understated.
