There were so many new releases last week, but I don’t think I got to that many of them in advance. But here is my take on them.
Sophie Jordan’s historical romance, An Heiress for All Seasons, is a delightful holiday novella that will put readers in a festive mood. Violet Howard is an American heiress whose mother is determined that she marry into the British peerage. The mother accepts an invitation to spend the holidays at the home of Will, the Earl of Melton, in hopes of getting Will to propose marriage. Violet is not keen on the idea. She believes herself to be in love with a man back home that her parents have deemed inappropriate. Will isn’t ready for marriage either - or at least he isn’t until he finally meets Violet. In this one, Violet is the one that needs to be convinced, and Will does an excellent job. An Heiress for All Seasons is a quick and highly romantic read.

Need something to read this week? There are so many great or potentially great romances out this week. Read on for more . . .
Katie Porter’s Bind is one of my favorite books out this week. This one is an erotic romance that is the third book in Porter’s Command Force Alpha series (and I recommend all three books very highly. The first is Own and the second is Snap). It features Nicholas (aka Nicky) Stafford, the leader of Command Force Alpha. Nicky is a stern leader, father (his daughter Kat is the heroine of Own) and widower with a kinky past. Nicky hasn’t tied anyone up since his wife’s death, but his affinity with rope is still strong. This is apparent when Astrid Holm, a Command Force Alpha accountant, finds a lead in an open case which involves rope fetishists.
Sweet Adventure by Penny Watson (contemporary, self-published, October 2014, $0.99, 45,000 words)

After all the lies and deception are exposed, will Andi and Sven survive this North Pole adventure? Or will YETI MAKE THEM DEADY?
