“Claimed for the Master’s Pleasure” by Jan Bowles (ebook)
I would have enjoyed this book more had the premise not involved the hero blackmailing the heroine into being his submissive. Jack and Lia were actually quite good together, but I couldn’t get over the fact that Lia’s deceased father owed Jack a significant amount of money – and that this played a major role in their relationship.

“Master of Submission” by Jan Bowles (ebook)
I felt that this was a much stronger book than “Claimed for the Masters’ Pleasure.” Emma is trying to find her missing friend and ends up at Club Submission. Zane meets Emma there and is very attracted to her. The two begin to explore a relationship which is complicated her friend’s murder. There was a nice mix of suspense, romance and sex in this one.

RNNREad2-3“A Heir of Deception” by Beverley Kendall (ebook, review copy)

“Boot Scootin Booty Call” by Lila Munro (ebook)
I liked this story. It is quite short – a very quick read, but very hot.

“Meeting Her Match” by Justine Elyot (ebook)
This one is about Cherry’s journey to discover and embrace her submissive side. She meets someone who introduces her to spanking and domination, but he is stationed far away. Cherry then tries to meet like-minded people online. She does meet a couple who gets her noticed by the most famous dom around. However, the training at the lord’s manor isn’t what Cherry expects. Throughout is all, Cherry is falling for her new boss, the school master. I love these types of books that follow women’s emotional journeys. I am a fan of Elyot – and pretty much am collecting her backlist.

“The Girl’s Guide to Man Hunting” by Jessica Clare (review copy)
Review to come

“Meltdown” by Pepper Goodrich (ebook)
This is a quick and sexy read about a woman retreating to her brother’s cabin, only to be surprised by her brother’s buddy arriving for some rest. The two are snowed in and end up spending their time getting to know each other intimately.

“Katlynn in Training” by Kalissa Alexander (ebook)
This is one of those brothers-sharing ménage stories. Sometimes, I just can’t stop myself from buying these. In this one, Jarred, Justin and Jeremiah spy Katlynn and know she is the perfect woman for them. Katlynn is a shy, introverted woman with few friends. She is dealing with the recent loss of her parents, almost one right after the other. The story was enjoyable, although the three brothers and Katlynn fall in love a bit too easily and quickly.

“Submitting to the Boss” by Jasmine Haynes (ebook)
Okay, I feel like I should write a full review of this one because my reaction is rather mixed – and I was expecting it to be so. There is no way I can talk about my thoughts in a couple of sentences. So, I’m pondering this one.

“Room for Two” by Morticia Knight (ebook)
This is a very short story about a woman who has been seeing her Master for a year with very little emotional attachment. She sees him every weekend for some kinky fun, and then lives her daily life away from him. But the story takes place on the heroine’s birthday and the couple’s first anniversary. The hero has something special planned for his slave. Overall, this story is a bit dark for my tastes (there is a cage involved), but I liked the relationship between the hero and the heroine, and I liked the end. I got this free at Amazon.
