LoriwildephotoRNN welcomes author Lori Wilde. Read on to learn more about her upcoming releases and her new venture with Entangled Publishing. Comment for a chance to win a copy of one of her backlist titles.

Lori Wilde has two new Christmas novellas from Avon Impulse. "The Christmas Cookie Chronicles: Carrie" will be released on November 15th and "The Christmas Cookie Chronicles: Raylene" will be out on November 29th.

Q: For readers who may be new to Lori Wilde, which books would you recommend they begin with?

A: The Sweethearts’ Knitting Club is the first book in my current series from Avon.

Q: You write both comedic romances and ones with a sexier edge. Which is more difficult to write? Do you have a preference for one over the other?

A: The funny books come to me more naturally. That said all the books are difficult to write. There’s just so much that goes into creating a compelling story. It’s never easy.

ChristmasCookieCARRIE-300Q: Congratulations on your new partnership with Entangled Publishing. Can you give some information about Lori Wilde’s: Indulgence? Is there a time frame one when the new imprint is set to launch?

A: Indulgence is a new line of category romances that will be digital only and sell for $2.99. We’re looking for the voices of the future. We want smart, romantic stories featuring hot Alpha heroes and strong modern women. The line is set to launch in February. We are actively acquiring.

Q: What is next up for Lori Wilde, the author?

A: I have a series from Avon coming out in 2012, featuring cutting horse cowboys.

Lori Wilde is giving away a copy of one of her backlist titles to one U.S. or Canadian winner. Winner will get to select a book from the following list: "The Sweethearts' Knitting Club," "The True Love Quilting Club," "The First Love Cookie Club," or "The Welcome Home Garden Club."

Update 11/20/2011: Winner: Julie Parrish
