The Theory of Deviance
Release Date August 2, 2016
Painful shyness isn't the only reason Mikey Pelletier is a twenty-five-year-old virgin. Between working for his parents and volunteering at his church, he neither has the time nor the inclination to admit his bisexuality to the world—or to himself.
A visit from Krissy Porter will hopefully fix everything. After three months of chatting with her, Mikey's got one carefully planned week to win her heart and lose his V-card. He's hoping he can pull it off, even with her roommate along for the ride.
Krissy has been drawn to Mikey for a while. He's so easygoing, she thinks he could be the calm in her storm. But there's an extra complication when she comes to visit: her friend-with-benefits, "hetero-flexible" roommate, Rafe.
During a week of revelations, intimacy, and kink, Krissy and Rafe become the angel and devil on Mikey's shoulders, tempting him in different directions. And all three of them discover that a week of pure deviance can lead to the most uncontrollable emotion of all: love.
Warning: This book contains innocent board game-playing that takes a sexy turn, use of recreational substances, back-door action, and some smokin' hot threesomes. Plus, scenes of inner-demon slaying. Fans and tissues advised.

Stripped Bounty by Dorothy F. Shaw (erotic, self published, August 2016)
Badger finally got Rosie in his bed, but in order to keep her there, he has to figure out how to save her life.
After her drug-running husband gets himself killed, Rosie Santini figures Phoenix is a fine place to get a fresh start. Deuce’s strip club isn’t too fresh, but the money’s easy. As she works the pole, the only gaze she can’t ignore belongs to the club’s head bouncer, Badger Baxter. But Rosie’s seen her fair share of tall, dark, and dangerous, and no way is she heading down that road. Not even for a hot hunk of muscle like Badger.
When he’s not bounty hunting, Badger runs security at Deuce’s. Rosie should be just another piece of fresh meat in the club’s stable of pole jockeys, but all her sexy parts add up to a ride Badger would like to test drive. Trouble is, Badger likes his women submissive, but not broken. She’s definitely got baggage he wants no part of. But when her husband’s killer shows up looking for stolen cash, she fits naturally under his protection—and it isn’t long before she’s hooked deep into his heart.
So deep, losing her now would make him bleed in more ways than one.

One MInute to Midnight by Nico Rosso (romantic suspense, Carina, July 2016)
Series: Black Ops: Automatik, book 2
She was his backup.
Former navy SEAL Ben Jackson knows that sexy "Mary Long" is nothing but a cover; that beneath the stylish clothes and flirty smile is a stone cold super-soldier no one ever gets close to. Until her kiss hits him like one of her sniper rounds. But Morris Flats is no place for a hookup—menace hums through the town, and the more the two operators keep pushing for answers, the more deadly the current seems to run.

Looking for a menage romance? Menage romances aren’t as prevalent as they once were. I certainly haven’t read too many over the past year. But recently, I did read Carrie Ann Ryan’s Ink Enduring, the fifth book in the Montgomery Ink series, a wonderful and angst-filled m/m/f romance. Maya and Jake have been best friends forever (at least throughout the entire Montgomery Ink series), but there was always a hint that there could be more between them. But one problem is Jake’s unresolved feelings for Border, a past love. And when Border shows up, Jake and Maya’s complicated relationship becomes more so. But there is a strong attraction between Border and Maya, opening up the possibility of a three way relationship. There are some very hurt feelings between Border and Jake, complicated feelings between Jake and Maya and fledgling feelings between Maya and Border. All of these need to be worked out for these three to find happiness together.

Make Me Love You by Johanna Lindsey (historical, Gallery, July 2016)
Whitworth relishes the idea of sending his younger sister Brooke to his enemy’s remote estate. He knows the Wolf will reject her as a bride, thereby losing his wealth and status. The Wolf, however, is determined to scare away the Whitworth chit. With dueling no longer an available means of destroying the man he abhors, he will be satisfied to see him lose his lands and title. But he hadn’t expected his enemy’s sister to be so resourceful or resilient.

Spurt of the Month: ʺCan't get erect, can't spurt, can't get a woman pregnant.ʺ from Ainslie Patton’s Damaged Goods (which is out on July 29). This is the first time a character has said the word spurt in a love-spurt context. The hero, Owen, has suffered a spinal injury and is still recuperating. As a result, he is impotent and here he is bemoaning the fact that he can’t spurt. Kudos to Ainslie Paton for her creative spurt use.
